Lesson 4 - Funky chords

| Now we had a good funky scale and learned how to solo correctly, its now time to move on to the chords. Underneath is a list of chords often used in funk. The chord is given and the position it is played on. Remember funk is all about improvisation, so there are a lot of other chords possible. It is even said, that there is no correct sheme of funky chords, because people make new grooves every time over again. So also try experimenting with other chords that may pop up in your mind! |
